Below are adjectives extracted from the works of two influential horror writers: Edgar Allan Poe (purple) and H.P. Lovecraft (green). Using JavaScript, we generated this SVG file to create an interactive visualization based on their distinct styles. The size of the bubbles are based on the synset . The "synset" numbers (like 16, 21, 36 which you can see when you hover over one of the bubbles) are shorthand codes within the dataset to group words by meaning or context. This helps to see which words have a higher synset value (bigger impact or usage).
